So, after 14 weeks of travelling, we've arrived in Vancouver.
We've taken 28 planes, two coaches and ten trains, and used six hire cars to visit 11 countries in three continents. It's been a busy few months and, as you're probably sick of reading by now, we've seen fantastic things.
Our top ten:
- Mount Fuji, Japan
- Miyajima, Japan
- Koalas, orangutans, sun bears, kangaroos, wallabies, dolphins, clown fish, sea lions...
- Agra Fort, India
- Doubtful Sound, New Zealand
- The Golden Temple, India
- The night sky at Lake Tekapo, New Zealand
- Angkor Wat, Cambodia
- Jiufen, Taiwan
- Okinawa, Japan
We haven't put the S-21 museum in Phnom Penh and the Atomic Bomb museum in Nagasaki on the list but they are definitely worth visiting, even if the depths of human cruelty revealed in them are deeply saddening.
So, until our next trip (we haven't done South America or Africa yet...) good bye and thanks for reading!
